94.3 WMJC Radio’s “Unlabeled and Unloaded” Series Every Thursday at Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre Features Best and Brightest in Local Talent

Rockville Centre, NY -  The inaugural “Unlabeled and Unloaded” concert series began with a bang last night, as New York City’s Hollywood Hangover, Patchogue’s Airdate and Rockville Centre’s Show Me Action lit up the stage at the Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre with their dreams of music stardom on display. The bands were joined by Rick Eberle from PopCore Entertainment and master of ceremonies Warren Mandel from 94.3 WMJC Radio for the beginning of a very special new weekly music community event. There were also representatives from MTV casting at the event searching for unique and interesting Long Islanders; of which were in no short supply!

This series is a partnership between 94.3 WMJC Radio, Vibe Lounge and Loaded Rock shows, and is an extension of 94.3 WMJC Radio’s highly successful “Unlabeled” program, which airs every Sunday night from 10pm – 11pm on 94.3 WMJC (and streams live online at http://www.wmjcfm.com ). The show is hosted by 94.3 WMJC radio personality Rob Rush and “local music maven”, the CEO and Founder of PopCore Entertainment, Rick Eberle. Doors open at 7pm and three acts perform each night. There is a $10 admission charge for 21 and over with great drink specials from Budweiser all night long. Patrons 18 and over are also admitted at $15 each.

Benefits for bands:

• All participating acts are promoted online at www.clubloaded.com and www.popcore.net and www.unlabeledmusic.net  and flyers are distributed through proven street team canvassing techniques.
• Each performer will have their song played on the 94.3 WMJC Unlabeled radio program on the Sunday preceding the event.
• Additionally, one act from each night will be chosen as the “Vibe Pick of the Week” and 94.3 WMJC Unlabeled will play the chosen band’s song AGAIN the week AFTER their performance. This act will also be in the running for the chance to come and play LIVE in-studio at 94.3 WMJC and be interviewed by Rob Rush and Rick Eberle for broadcast on a future episode of 94.3 WMJC Unlabeled.
