EEAC Helps Artists Record Digital Images of Work
East End Arts Council Helps Artists Record Digital Images of Work
Riverhead, NY – The East End Arts Council is happy to present and ongoing workshop, Making CD’s of Your 2D’s & 3D’s, with photographer Jim DeSario. Every two months, Mr. DeSario will be available to create digital images of artists’ work (unframed if possible—no glass a must) for artists who need digital images of their art to submit to shows, galleries and/or clients—or just to keep a record of art created prior to sales. Each image will be made into 5 files. 1) Original as shot. 2) Cropped, color-tweaked and balanced, high resolution for printing. 3) Low resolution for web and emailing. 4) A version that can be opened and further tweaked in Photoshop. 5) A RAW version suitable for fine-tuning by a Photoshop expert at a later date.
Mr. DeSario will be at the EEAC Carriage House every eighth Sunday; interested artists should call EEAC for next shoot, and they will be assigned a time when they register. All payments must be made before day of shoot. The cost is $150/members or $200/nonmembers for the first hour ($120 and $160 respectively for each hour booked by the same artist after that). Please note: 5 images can be photographed and computer cropped and color corrected per hour.
