Amana Tool Expands A.G.E. Line of Wood-Cutting Saw Blades
Additions to product line provide high-quality wood cutting performance to professionals and contractors at affordable prices
(Farmingdale, New York) - Amana Tool, manufacturers of industrial-quality carbide-tipped and solid carbide cutting tools, today announced additions to the industrial wood-cutting saw blade line of its A.G.E. brand. The new blades include a range of diameters and provide excellent performance when ripping and cross-cutting a variety of soft and hard woods. A.G.E. blades are designed to be used in table saws or gang-rip saws and feature unique tooth geometry, special carbide grade and alternate top bevel (ATB) designs.
The A.G.E. series of wood-cutting blades are laser cut from virgin steel, then flattened, ground and tensioned. Carbide tips are then brazed onto the blades, enabling smooth, accurate cutting. The tips are made of a specially designed carbide grade that resists breakage and can be resharpened for increased value compared to abrasive cut-off wheels. Each step in the manufacturing process is computer-controlled and monitored by sophisticated inspection equipment to assure the tightest tolerances and superior quality.
“Expanding the A.G.E. offerings helps us further serve our customers by providing the highest quality saw blades at the best possible prices,” said Zygmunt Milewski, vice president of international sales with Amana Tool. “With the A.G.E. line, professional users and contractors have access to top-quality, German-manufactured saw blades that build on the Amana Tool reputation for high quality and superior performance standards.”
The new blades in the A.G.E. line range from 6-1/4” to 24” in diameter and provide industrial quality performance at affordable prices. In addition to wood-cutting blades, the A.G.E. line carries specialty blades for different applications including: aluminum, melamine, plastic, steel, solid surface, demolition and scoring blades.
