Drawing Class for Grown Ups at East End Arts Council

(Riverhead, NY) – EEAC is pleased to present a series of drawing classes specifically geared toward the older student. Drawing is the oldest and most personal of art forms as well as a necessary foundation for other forms of art. The series begins with Drawing Basics, beginning March 2, and includes instruction in line contour, value, proportion and texture. The next in the series, Drawing from Within, is design to nurture and tap in to individual creativity using still life and begins on April 20. 

This class is followed by Abstract Drawing and then by Perspective Drawing. Classes are held on Monday afternoons from 4:30 – 6:30 PM and are taught by Mr. H. Alan Feit, Professor of Fine Arts at Suffolk Community College. Individuals may register for just one session or all four. Sessions range in price from $60 to $120 depending on number of classes. Registration is open to adults and mature teens age 14 +.
