Back to Nature—Watercolor at East End Arts Council School of the Arts
 
(Riverhead, N.Y.) – The East End Arts Council School of the Arts is now taking registration for the Wednesday morning Watercolor Club. Be inspired by the reawakening of spring. Instruction will include advanced watercolor techniques, color, composition and the development of personal style. Previous watercolor experience necessary.  Just in time for spring blooms, join Elizabeth Nehls on Wednesday, May 6, 2-5 pm for drawing flowers with graphite pencils and powder. Learn contour, shading and foreshortening. On Wednesday May 20 she’ll be offering instruction in drawing flowers in pen & ink in the style of the old masters. You’ll learn how to create rhythm and movement, shape, volume and form with the simple line. The cost for each class is $45 (discount for EEAC members).  Just in time for June roses, join Barbara Stype for a one-day watercolor Painting a Rose Workshop. The class will be held on Wednesday, June 10 from 10AM – 2PM. The is cost $60 (discount for EEAC members).
