The two life-long friends, who grew-up together on Long Island, have always shared a love for gossip and what’s happening in the world of celebrities.  They often begin their conversation with the question, “Have U Heard…?”  and wanted to let others share their inside information.  HaveuHeard.net is the result.  HaveUHeard.net’s traffic has grown to more than 1.0 million page views this past month since its launch in November.

“Our website is interactive and personal,” says Shari.  Their opinions on celebrities, fashion, entertainment, trends and any other topic that friends might be discussing can be found on their site.  HaveuHeard.net contains stories that give a positive spin.  “Celebrities are powerful and can do such positive things. For example, we like to highlight charitable organizations that celebrities are involved in,” says Shari.
 
In addition, the site covers local Long Island events and publicizes local artists, new businesses and organizations.  “We want to talk about anything that’s hot,” says Cathy.  HaveUHeard.net also sponsors weekly contests giving away gift certificates to various internet sites, autographed celebrity books and much more. Both women know there is genuine interest in what celebrities are doing and their impact on society and are happy to be able to share their passion through HaveUHeard.net.
