Local Artist Group Shows at Riverhead Town Hall
(Riverhead, N.Y.) As part of its mission to bring art to everyone and inspire the community through support, advocacy and education, the East End Arts Council shows the work of member artists and artist groups in local spaces like the Riverhead Town Hall and the Jamesport Manor Inn. Currently on display through June 1st at the Walker Corridor of Riverhead Town Hall is the diverse work of The Hampton Center Gallery, Inc., a talented group of local artists. Gracing the walls are paintings done in several media by Helen Giaquinto, Christine Chew Smith, Dawn Schaffner and H. Karin Barcelona, among others, and poetry by Mary Anne Dimilia and East End legend Ellen de Pazzi. The art can be viewed Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4 pm.
The show is a collaborative effort on the part of the East End Arts Council and the Township of Riverhead to support local artists and introduce their work to the community.
