TV Competitors Less Than 100 Per Cent Clear

With some of our TV competitors being less than 100 per cent clear on the subject of picture quality, Verizon would like to bring some clarity to the HD debate on Long Island.

Verizon’s FiOS TV offers:

– 116 HD channels to our Long Island customers.  In fact, Verizon FiOS provides more than 100 HD channels in each of our markets.  The other cable company operating on Long Island just plain doesn’t.

– An uncompressed digital signal.  The quality of Verizon FiOS HD is absolutely stunning.  Unlike older cable technology, FiOS TV HD quality isn’t deteriorated by the recompression of HD signals before they’re passed on to customers.  If consumers have invested in a new HD TV, Verizon FiOS TV is the way to go.

– Verizon FiOS TV offers all the premium movie channels (currently 76) and more of them in HD (currently 43) than the cable company.  More HBO HD, more Cinemax HD, more Showtime HD, more Starz HD….more premium channels in HD.  Period.
