Strings ’n Things Acoustic Open Mic Night; July 2, 16, August 13, 27

(Smithtown, N.Y.) Strings n’ Things Open Mic is an evening filled to the brim with personality, entertainment, good humor and great music! Performances are held at The Mills Pond House Gallery from 8:00 pm until 10:30 pm on first and third Thursday nights at the Mills Pond House. Sign ups begin at 7:30 pm.  Come to play or just to hear some great music. Admission is free.
 
Open Mic nights make it possible for both artists and audiences to extend and enhance their experience of music. The project gives local musicians a place to showcase and develop their skills and talents, and gives music-loving audiences an opportunity to hear some of Long Island’s newest talents. Open Mic performances are recorded and posted on the web at www.bobkmusic.com, allowing audiences to hear their favorite singers and songwriters 24/7.
