Gallery Owner and International Art Dealer Peter Marcelle to Review Artists’ Portfolios
 
(Riverhead, N.Y.) — On Saturday, October 17, 2009, Peter Marcelle, owner of the Hampton Road Gallery, Southampton, will be back by popular demand to spend face-to-face time with individual artists – looking at their art and telling them straight from the hip what works, what doesn’t, and what their next steps should be in their quest to find gallery or dealer representation. Approximately 15 minutes of individual guidance will be provided for artists interested in learning what a high-end, international art dealer has to say about their work. Marcelle will engage you at your artistic level, revealing what you specifically need to hear about your art to break through to the next phase of your development as an artist.
 
This unique professional development opportunity for artists is available by appointment only, call the East End Arts Council at 369-2171 to reserve a time; appointments begin at 10:30 AM. The fee is $25 for members, $40 for non-members.  Bring one work of art for critique and photos of additional work. Payment in full must be received no later than October 10th to reserve your appointment. Mail or drop off a check at the or pay by phone using your credit card.
