Westy Self Storage Hosts October “Westival” to Benefit The Salvation Army

(Hicksville, N.Y.) – Westy Self Storage will be hosting an October “Westival” on Sunday, October 18 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Westy Self Storage in Hicksville is proud to host this fall festival to benefit The Salvation Army.  The only cost for admission is 3 or more cans of non-perishable food.  These donations will help stock The Salvation Army’s Long Island food pantry.
Together with The Salvation Army, Westy invites the entire family to come and join the fun.  Have your face painted and participate in the many activities including carnival games, a clown entertainer, balloon animals and more.  Savor a delicious snack such as apple cider, donut holes, popcorn and cotton candy.  Enjoy the afternoon while also contributing to the much needed food supply of The Salvation Army’s Long Island food pantry.  The Salvation Army is the single largest provider of social services of its kind within the United States.  Their mission is to meet human needs without discrimination.  The Long Island food pantry is in great need of replenishment as the economy has both increased the need and decreased the supply of donations.

Please help support The Salvation Army by attending the October “Westival” at Westy Self Storage in Hicksville located at 65 West John Street, across from the train station.   Call 516-433-5500 or visit www.westy.com for directions.  “We are very excited about the Westival,” said Yasir Zaidi, District Director of Westy Self Storage, Hicksville location. “We are looking forward to providing the community with an afternoon full of fun while at the same time, assisting such a deserving cause.”

“We were excited to again partner with Westy Self Storage,” said Captain James Kisser of The Salvation Army.  “We are so grateful to the entire team at Westy for putting such effort into making this event a success.  With the help of Westy and the community, The Salvation Army will be able to provide for many more individuals.”
