“Forgotten Tales of Long Island” Booksigning, Spooky Stories, Devilish Desserts at Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Educational & Cultural Center
(Stony Brook, N.Y.) – Author Richard Panchyk will appear at Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Educational & Cultural Center on Thursday, October 29 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and entertain you with ghostly stories and spooky selections from his book, “Forgotten Tales of Long Island.”
From the ghost of an old seaman haunting a house in Glen Cove to Lake Ronkonkoma’s “Lady of the Lake,” “Forgotten Tales of Long Island” is sure to entertain adults and children alike. Richard Panchyk is the author and editor of 17 books on a diverse range of topics, including children’s nonfiction (astronomy, history, archaeology, art, politics/government) and adult nonfiction (history and folklore). His works have been translated into four languages.
