David I. Rosenberg, Esq. Reelected For Third Term As Vice Chair Of Suffolk County IDA
 
(Long Island, N.Y.) David I. Rosenberg, Esq., senior partner at the Garden City law firm of Rosenberg Fortuna & Laitman, LLP and a resident of Dix Hills, was reelected for a third term as Vice Chair of the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency at the organization’s January 25, 2010 meeting.
 
Elected to his first term as vice chair by the full board of trustees in 2006, and then for a second term in 2008, Rosenberg was initially appointed a member of the Suffolk IDA board in 1999. As vice chair, a pro bono position, Rosenberg assists in running the board and in fulfilling the functions of the chair, James Morgo, in his absence.
 
ABOUT THE SUFFOLK COUNTY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Suffolk County IDA is a governmental agency created by the New York State Legislature to provide economic assistance for companies who seek to establish themselves in Suffolk County or to enable them to stay and prosper in Suffolk County.  The IDA can offer eligible businesses economic benefits and tax incentives to locate or remain in Suffolk County. As reported in Long Island Business News in December 2009, the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency is working on tax exempt bonds to finance a $20 million redevelopment by SheltAir at Long Island MacArthur Airport.
