Roslyn Salon Honored by Salon Today Magazine

(Roslyn, N.Y.) It was announced today that Salon Rock, one of Nassau County’s newest and most buzzed about salons, located on the pond at 1372 Old Northern Blvd in Roslyn, NY 516-307-1177 http://www.salonrock.com has been named as a Salon Of Distinction for 2010 by Salon Today magazine. In existence for less than 9 months, Salon Rock has truly proven to be a force in trend setting salon and hair design; coming in fourth place nationally out of hundreds of applicants – which also included second place finisher The Gatsby, made famous on the Jerseylicious TV program on the Style network.

The winners were chosen by using tallies from editors, art directors, and outside expert judges who based scores on the essays and photographs submitted by representatives from each salon.

Salon Rock was also recently featured in Newsday’s “What They’re Wearing” column for their Backstage Pass music event – which happens on the last Thursday of every month at 7pm and features food, drink and music with haircutting demonstrations from Salon Rock’s top top stylists and fashion shows from local Roslyn clothing shops.
