For the first time, The Academy of Applied Personal Training Education (AAPTE) will offer their comprehensive exam review course for the aspiring and experienced fitness professional and/or enthusiast in Riverhead, NY. This 32 hour, two-part Review Course will be given at the Hotel Indigo East End in Riverhead on Friday, October 15 (4-8 pm), Saturday, October 16 (8:30 am to 5 pm) and Sunday October 17, 2010 (8:30 am to 6 pm), with the Practical Skills Labs portion being held the following weekend at Ultimate Fitness East in Riverhead, on Saturday October 23 and Sunday, October 24, 2010 (1:00 to 6:30 pm). The review course fee (includes materials and exam registration) is $625.00 and a payment plan is available. This course is an effective study tool to prepare for the AAPTE CPFT-HFI Exam. For those seeking nationally accredited certification as a personal trainer/health fitness instructor must pass the AAPTE CPFT-HFI Exam. This exam will be given on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at the Hotel Indigo East End, Riverhead, NY. Upon successful completion of the exam, candidates will receive a nationally accredited Certification from the Academy of Applied Personal Training Education.
 
Since 1996, the AAPTE has offered a Personal Trainer education and certification program through Hofstra University’s Continuing Education program with over 25 different rotating continuing education course topics. Each course is presented in detail by subject matter experts. The AAPTE continually reviews and responds to new scientific evidence and trends in the industry.
