(Long Island, N.Y.) On Thursday August 19th, Monterey Restaurant and Murder Mystery Manhattan (mysterymanhattan.com) will host its first interactive, gender-bending murder mystery comedy, Seamus and Philomena’s Wedding To Die For, written and directed by Keith Dougherty.

The audience members become part of the “Diss-functional family” and are there to attend the wacky wedding of studly, Seamus and buxom beauty, Philomena.  Over the next three hours and a 3 course dinner, meet Pepper Oni, the pregnant maid of honor with a permanent bad hair day, Sal Ami, the new best man with a death wish and Peccarina Pizelle, the stripper from the bachelor party who is definitely the “girl” with something extra.  Cagey Mob boss, Moe Zarella tries to keep the wailing mother quiet as they all look for the missing Pastor, Paddy O’Furniture.  A member of the “family” gets whacked and you have to help solve the crime.  This is a laugh out loud farce with a professional cast from Manhattan, delicious food and a chance to win a great prize looking at the clues and solving the crime.
