To Sleepy Hollow & Washington Irving’s Sunnyside

Let’s enjoy the autumn foliage in beautiful Sleepy Hollow on Thursday, October 14.  First we tour Union Church, home of beautiful stained glass windows by Henri Matisse and Marc Chagall, then off to lunch at Sunset Cove Restaurant overlooking the Hudson River.  After lunch we have a guided tour of Washington Irving’s home, Sunnyside, followed by a discussion of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in the house!  Cost of $85 includes tours of Sunnyside, and Union Church, lunch, transportation, and gratuities.  Some walking throughout the house.  First day of sale on Tuesday, September 21 at the East Meadow Public Library’s Public Relations or online at www.eastmeadow.info.
