A native Long Islander, Rich Broillet writes stories, songs, sings and plays guitar. He has performed in shows from Japan to St. Thomas, New York to Nashville. Songs from his album “Undiscovered Country” were auditioned on local radio stations and won praise on ‘Hot New Country’. Rich’s music was described as “Lennon does country” by members of the Grand Ole Opry in a recording session in Nashville.
One of Rich Broillet’s most haunting songs is one he wrote on the day John Lennon died. He asked himself the question what would be John Lennon’s next song. He sat down and wrote a farewell message from John to Yoko depicting John traveling into the universe. This multi talented musician brings his own essence and vulnerability to each selected song. He has invited some wonderful local musical talent to accompany him through the corridors of his musical universe.
