TV personality and ad man to answer audience questions
 
(Long Island, N.Y.) Donny Deutsch, television host and chairman of Deutsch Inc., will keynote the Fair Media Council’s annual Connection Day event on Oct. 29 at the Long Island Hilton.
 
The event, which brings more than 100 reporters, editors, bloggers, social media experts and media relations specialists out to educate business and nonprofit organizations on how to work with the media to promote their products, services and agendas, takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The keynote will occur during the luncheon for the 600 attendees.
 
“As area businesses grapple with the best way to bounce back from this economy, effective marketing strategies are  more important than ever,” said Jaci Clement, executive director of the Fair Media Council. “Donny Deutsch’s expertise in advertising, combined with his knowledge of the media industry, will make for a compelling keynote before Long Island’s business leaders.”
 
Donny Deutsch is chairman of one of the nation’s top advertising agencies, Deutsch Inc., a multi-billion dollar full-service agency whose prestigious clients include PNC Financial Services Group, Johnson & Johnson, DIRECTV, Volkswagen, Eastman Kodak Company, HTC, Dr. Pepper and Sony PlayStation.

In addition, Deutch has played host to some of America’s most influential entrepreneurs and business titans on his long-running CNBC talk show, The Big Idea.
