(Long Island, N.Y.) Music icons Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper are lending their name and talents to help those living with lupus in our local area. Through the Lupus Alliance of America Long Island/Queens affiliate you have a chance to win 2 tickets to see Lady Gaga live as well as have your picture taken with her backstage, or win a beautiful epiphone guitar autographed by Cyndi Lauper. 
 
You can enter either or both of these raffles, and there are no limits on how many tickets you can buy. Tickets for both raffles are on sale now at $10.00 each or 3 for $25.00 and can be purchased at www.lupusliqueens.org.store.asp or by calling 1-800-850-9000.  The winner for the Lady Gaga raffle will be drawn on April 13th, and for the Cyndi Lauper raffle on May 15th.
 
These raffles will help the Lupus Alliance fund novel research into the cause and cure of lupus, as well as the development of better medications and diagnostic tools, something those living with this devastating disease have fought for and needed for some time. The funds raised will also help fund the Alliance`s programs for those living with lupus which include financial assistance, support groups, one-on-one counseling, educational seminars, children`s groups and more.
 
“We cannot thank both Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lauper enough for their generous donations  to help raise funds not only for research but to assist those living with lupus with daily tasks that they either can’t do own on their own, or cannot afford,” said Executive Director, JoAnn Quinn.
