$322,500 Raised Locally to Support U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program
 
(Long Island, NY) Over the past thirteen years, Applebee’s Breakfast with Santa events on Long Island and at participating restaurants in northern and central New Jersey have raised a combined total of over $2.7 million for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Neighborhood Applebee’s donated 100% of the proceeds from each of their local events and sold paper “gift packages” bringing this year’s contribution to a record-breaking $322,500 to help provide happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during the holiday season. Dollars raised in each community benefitted that local community. In Nassau and Suffolk counties alone, over $135,000 was raised.
