Over 100 Long Island businesses gathered for LI’s most dynamic business event
(Long Island, NY) Refreshing, new marketing and growth strategies were the center of attention for over 1200 small business owners who sought advice from marketing and sales professionals at the Trade Nassau. They took the opportunity to expand their knowledge and network with other business owners and potential partners at the recently held business to business show. Trade Nassau kicked off with a welcoming message of support for the business community from Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano. Andrew Hazen of Ruskin, Moscou, Faltischek, P.C., a member of the Corporate and Securities Department and the Digital Media Practice Group, discussed how business owners can use social media advertising to target their marketing efforts. An added highlight of the show was the appearance of Bud Harrelson, 1986 World Champion NY Mets coach, who spoke and signed copies of his new book, Turning Two.
“The Trade Nassau show gave us great visibility and provided us with some quality leads in our primary marketplace. I have been an exhibitor at Trade Nassau since its inception, and each year it gets better,” said Roger Kahn, President of Champion Office Suites in Garden City.
Trade Nassau provided business owners and professionals with a forum to network, market and promote their products and services to over 1200 people from the business-minded community. Over 100 exhibitors, representing local businesses, national corporations, franchises, banks, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, government agencies, business advocacy groups and the media from Long Island and the greater metropolitan area were on hand to meet and greet visitors at their booths. Special educational sessions led by leading small-business experts, provided concrete solutions and strategies for overcoming the everyday challenges facing businesspeople in today’s slow economy.
“Trade Nassau was a day of opportunity for the businessperson. The kick off breakfast set the mood. Exhibitors and attendees were eager to take advantage of day’s schedule. Whether they showcased their products and services at an attractive exhibit or they attended one or more of the special sessions featuring topnotch speakers, they benefited from the show. Many were particularly interested in getting the scoop on how to use social media to grow their businesses. Everyone wanted to network to make new contacts or to discuss business opportunities with colleagues. Trade Nassau once again proved to be a worthwhile get-together for businesspeople in the Long Island-metro New York region,” said Jonathan Levin, Founder of Trade Nassau.
