   National Gallery Of Art Documentary And Discussion

Featuring three 20th Century European Artists: Henri Rousseau, Matisse in Nice and Henry Moore

(Great Neck, NY) On Wednesday June 13, 2012 at 7:30 PM, Great Neck Arts Center “Artists Network” members and the public are invited to enjoy a relaxed evening with fellow art lovers while learning more about the world of art at the Great Neck Arts Center, located at 113 Middle Neck Road, Great Neck, NY 516.829.2570 (main entrance is on Maple Drive)

Guests will view a National Gallery of Art documentary about three 20th Century European Artists; Henri Rousseau (Jungles in Paris), Matisse in Nice, and Henry Moore (A Life in Sculpture). A lively discussion follows the viewing of National Gallery of Art documentary programs about each of these artists & their works. Each documentary incorporates biographical information, in-depth looks at individual works of art, archival photographs, and interviews with curators and scholars.

Artists Network Members may attend Free of Charge.

Guests are welcome; Students are FREE and Guests are $5.00

There will be Complimentary wine, soda, tea or coffee & refreshments for all.

All funds raised go to support the School for the Arts, Scholarship Program, and Outreach Program, which currently serves thousands of students in the region.
