Pal O Mine Holds 10th Annual Day At The Races

Fundraiser to Feature Horse Races, Buffet Dinner, Open Bar, Auction & Raffles
(Islandia, NY) On Friday, June 8, 2012 the 10th Annual “A Day at the Races” will be held at Belmont Park, a 430-acre race track in Elmont, NY. The event, which starts at 1pm, offers a day of fun while helping to raise money for Pal-O-Mine and its programs.
Tickets cost $125 and include entrance to the horse races, a buffet dinner, open bar, auction, and raffles. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help to support programs at Pal-O-Mine including therapeutic riding, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Equine Assisted Learning, and the newest program for returning military and their families.

ABOUT PAL-O-MINE
Pal-O-Mine Equestrian’s roots date back to 1993 when Founder and Director Lisa Gatti started a therapeutic riding program for individuals with disabilities. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive therapeutic equine program using horses to facilitate growth, learning and healing. Our population includes children and adults with disabilities, those who have been abused or neglected, the military and the economically compromised. Pal-O-Mine operates a full time program, seven days a week, twelve months a year, and supports eighteen program horses on an 8-acre facility serving 300 individuals with disabilities weekly.
