(Long Island, NY) The East End Arts School is proud to announce this summer’s Arts Camps taking place throughout July and August for children and teens on the grounds of East End Arts, located at 141 East Main Street in Riverhead. East End Arts’ very popular summer camps were rated Best of the Best by Dan’s Papers in 2011. Pre-registration is required; limited space still available. Renaissance Kids Camp

• Two-Week Art, Music and Theatre Camp for Ages 5-8
• July 23-August 3, Monday-Friday, 9:30AM-3PM
  Renaissance Kid Camp is a two-week program where campers are introduced to a broad range of artistic and creative experiences through a camp-wide theme, which this year is planet Earth. Campers will explore topics from the African Jungle and Sahara Desert to the Brazilian Rainforest and Arctic Ocean, and beyond. Each day includes visual arts with painting, sculpting and craft activities, music where campers sing, dance and try musical instruments, and theatre, which includes stories, puppetry, role playing, character creation and other dramatic play activities. Camp concludes with a performance and art show.

Renaissance Summer Arts Camps

• One-Week, Focused Arts Camps for Ages 9-14
• Monday – Friday, 9:30AM – 2:30PM
  This is an opportunity for tweens and teens to immerse themselves in their passion. A variety of camp experiences are offered where campers will learn and grow creatively in the arts. Programs are designed to bring out each camper’s unique, artistic ability in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Our instructors are professionals who work every day in the subject areas they teach. Group sizes are small to allow for personal mentoring.
• Sculpture Garden – Fine Arts Camp I: July 9-13
• Paint Barn – Fine Arts Camp II: July 16-20
• Mixed-Media Salad – Fine Arts Camp III: August 20-24
• Comedy Farm – Improv Camp: July 9-13
• Acting Bug – On-Camera Camp: July 23-27
• Hog the Limelight – Performance Camp: August 6-10
• Rockin’ Corral – Music Camp: August 6-17
• I’m a Studio Pro – Recording Camp: August 13-17
