Primary Responsibilities: Conduct direct sales activities in assigned territory to achieve sales quota within a specified time frame. Through business planning the Ad Sales Rep will strategically target customers with the goal of commitment to buy print ad space in our creative bi-annual publication. Upon commitment the Ad Sales Rep will be responsible for collecting payment and submitting commitment agreements to the accounts receivable department. The Ad Sales Rep will be responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships that will lead to customer loyalty to our products. Must submit weekly activity reports and track sales leads in an organized and focused manner. Advertising Sales Representatives will be given the freedom to creatively achieve results within ethical standards set forth by the company.
Major Qualifications: Sales skills with outgoing winner's attitude Microsoft office literate Ability to work independently to achieve results Knowledge of geographic sales territory Excellent presentation skills Requirements: Must have drivers license in good standing Must have reliable transportation Access to a PC Compensation: 20% commission on all sales Extra incentives for high performers Annual loyalty incentives
Available territories – New York: Northern Suffolk, Southern Suffolk, Eastern Suffolk. Maryland: Ocean City. Delaware: Shore points, New Jersey: Cape May. **Full-time representatives will make over $50,000 first year**
