Long Islanders helping down to help rebuild in New Orleans...
DATE: 05 Jul 2007, 12:54 pm / MOOD: Other

Greetings!

It is hard to believe that almost 2 years have passed since Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast, but August 29th marks the anniversary.  There is still so much to be done.  My partners and I have challenged ourselves to raise $1,000,000 to help the effort. We will also be spending the last week of August rebuilding homes in New Orleans.

This story was picked up by the local ABC affiliate in New Orleans last week.  Below are the links to ABC- 26 WGNO.

(See listing labeled- NY fundraising)

Please join me in supporting the rebuilding effort with your donations.  We are asking local Long Island businesses and individuals for monetary donations, building materials and tools.  Your coverage of this opportunity will help spread the word to our fellow Long Islanders.  Details are in the press release below.

We must tell the people of New Orleans that we haven’t forgotten them.

Sincere thanks for your consideration,

Bobby Roddini

Partner, LIHome411.com
