If you have investments and/or investment property, now might be a great time to lose the spouse you can't stand anymore.  As asset values have dwindled, thus goeth the amount you have to pay your spouse downwards.  Then, after a suitable period of rejoicing over having lost the one you love to hate, you can watch your holdings rally with the next boom.  There's always a silver lining. :-)
