Come to the Opening Of Gallerie 5 in Point Lookout . Gallerie 5 will have it’s grand opening on Friday evening, June 5 from 7 to 9pm, and will continue with its public opening the whole weekend. Local artists, Jonathan Willard and Jamie Cohen are proud to present Gallerie 5, an art gallery establishment on the south shore of Long Island in Point Lookout. “Our decision to collaborate together is based on having a strong and diverse representation of talent within the art world come to our home town. This has come true with the projected opening of Gallerie 5,” states Jamie Cohen,
co-proprietor. Gallerie 5 will have it’s grand opening on Friday evening, June 5 from 7 to 9pm, and will continue with its public opening the whole weekend. The Gallery’s intimate setting will allow visitors to fully immerse themselves within this creative space, and experience the full flavor of scheduled weekly events that will include lecturers and workshops for all ages. Some of the scheduled events will include book and poetry readings, music, wine tastings and artist viewings. Both Jonathon Willard and Jamie Cohen have exhibited their works and have received both accolades and awards from local and national artist groups. For more information and to receive a calendar of events, please contact Susan Kasper at 516-524-8600.
