ALL FOR THE EAST END is a 501(c)(3) non-profit establishment whose primary purpose is to raise awareness of the role all not-for-profit organizations play in making the east end of Long Island one of the most desirable places to live in the world. In December 2012 AFTEE received a grant of $15,000 from the Long Island Community Foundation to help with the production costs of producing an all day music festival to raise money for the East End not-for-profits. The Long Island Community Foundation will manage and administer the disbursement of funds obtained through AFTEE’s efforts. With over 1,075 registered 501(c)(3) organizations in the East End towns and a budget projected to raise $300,000, this program can easily benefit over 100,000 people.
