Riverhead drive-by shooting suspects indicted
(Long Island, NY) Four suspects arrested by Riverhead Town police February 13 for shooting at a home at #20 Third Street in Riverhead will be arraigned on a grand jury indictment tomorrow (Wednesday, February 27) in Suffolk County court in Riverhead.
Incarcerated in the Suffolk County jail in lieu of bail are Jeffrey Despeines, 21, of Centereach, Jordan Harrell, 18, of Medford, Eric Baldwin Jr., 18, of Bellport, and Jasmine Parsons, 19, of Riverhead.
Town police charged all four with first-degree reckless endangerment.
Despeines and Baldwin also face weapons charges.
Officers reported finding spent shell casings on the floorboard of the Ford Taurus the four were traveling in.
Judge William Condon will call the court calendar at 9:30 am.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
