Lupinacci welcomes Scott Waryold as new department chief
(Long Island, NY) Saturday evening, Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) joined Town of Huntington Clerk Jo-Ann Raia and members of the Greenlawn Fire Department for their 111th Annual Installation Dinner Dance. During the evening’s festivities, members were honored for their service to the department and this year’s officer class was installed. This year, the department will be led by Chief Scott Waryold, 1st Assistant Chief Kurt Allen, 2nd Assistant Chief Michael Zeis and 3rd Assistant Chief Michael Bellis.

“I want to thank outgoing Chief Dalrymple and all the members of Greenlawn for their service and wish them safety in 2013,” said Lupinacci. “The hard work and bravery shown by all is a testament to what makes our community such a special place to live. I also want to thank the families of these great men and women who are understanding and supportive of the sacrifices their loved ones make.”
Greenlawn Fire Department is made up of Columbia Hook & Ladder Co., the Greenlawn Engine Co., the Greenlawn Hose Co. and Greenlawn Rescue Squad.
