Assemblyman Hennessey has made it a priority to meet with school leaders in the 3rd Assembly District in order to understand the challenges our schools face, particularly in tough economic times. In varying degrees depending on state formulas along with a district and surrounding community’s fiscal capacity are the budgetary issues of high tax aid, gap elimination adjustment, and foundation aid.
