Offices on Long Island collected thousands of dollars’ worth of lightly used and brand-new baseball equipment
(Melville, NY) — New York Life’s offices on Long Island collected thousands of dollars’ worth of lightly used and brand-new baseball equipment for Pitch In For Baseball, a nonprofit organization that supplies baseball equipment and other assistance to young people in underserved communities. Most of the equipment came from the Garden City Athletic Association and will be donated to local families devastated by Superstorm Sandy. Also, New York Life’s Long Island General Office in Melville and the company’s Jericho office are sponsoring four local Little Leagues affected by the storm – Bay Shore, Island Park, North Merrick and Oceanside American.
