Earlier this week, Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) and members of the Long Island Assembly Minority Conference met with officials from local libraries in Albany to lobby as part of the state budget process. Joining the assemblymen in the chamber were library advocatesP from across the island.
“The value of reading cannot be understated in a child’s development, and the appreciation of good books can follow someone into adulthood,” said Lupinacci. “Our libraries offer residents an outstanding selection of literature and a sanctuary for learning. These men and women, along with all those involved in our local libraries, take tremendous pride in the work they do. Speaking with these great representatives of Long Island was a pleasure and I hope they enjoyed their time in Albany.”
