(Long Island, NY) On Sunday afternoon, baseball returned to the diamond as the Tri-Village Little League hosted its Opening Day Parade. As part of the festivities, Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) joined the youngsters to celebrate the start of another season.

“I want to wish all the youngsters a successful and fun-filled season and thank all the coaches and volunteers who help make the year possible,” said Lupinacci. “Baseball helps teach our young boys and girls the value of teamwork, competition and most importantly, sportsmanship. I hope all the young ballplayers are able to see their dreams come true on and off the diamond; you never know where the next David Wright or Derek Jeter might come from.”
