(NEW YORK CITY) – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Melissa M. Hays as Store Manager of the new 56th & 1st store located at 1031 First Avenue in Manhattan. She is responsible for new business development, consumer and business lending, managing personnel and overseeing the day-to-day operations at the store serving customers throughout the New York City area.

Hays has six years of retail banking experience. She joined TD Bank in 2007 as a Customer Service Representative and later served as a Store Supervisor before her most recent position as Assistant Store Manager at the TD Bank store at 42nd and Madison.
Hays is active in teaching financial literacy through TD Bank’s WOW! Zone and adult financial education programs throughout Metro NYC. She works with non-profit organizations Back on My Feet and NADAP, Inc. to facilitate programs for adults and also works with children in grades kindergarten through high school in five separate New York City schools.
A Manhattan resident, Hays is a 2007 graduate of Providence College in Providence, R.I. She is originally from Wading River, N.Y., where she graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School.
