BROOKHAVEN, NY – 2/1/2007 – At the recommendation of the Department of Waste Management, the Town Board of the Town of Brookhaven has awarded an operating/marketing contract for the Brookhaven Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) on Horseblock Road in Yaphank to Hudson Baylor Corporation. The MRF is projected to generate in excess of 40,000 tons of recyclable material annually.Hudson Baylor will commence operation of the Town-owned recycling facility on February 1, 2007.
