(Northport, NY) –The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport announces its next special event in their ongoing Broadway Concert Series on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 8 PM. Produced exclusively for the John W. Engeman Theater by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of New York’s finest performers will recreate some of their most memorable career highlights and sharing amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes.
Broadway performers scheduled to appear include Tony Award winner Anthony Crivello (Kiss of the Spider Woman, Evita, Les Miserables, The News, Phantom-Las Vegas), Tony Award winner and Drama Desk Award winner Randy Graff (Fiddler on the Roof; A Class Act; High Society; Moon Over Buffalo; Laughter on the 23rd Floor; Falsettos; City of Angels; Les Miserables; Sarava; Grease), Alan H. Green (Sister Act, Play On!), Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award nominee Rory O’Malley (The Book of Mormon, The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee) and Tony Award winner and Drama Desk Award winner Tonya Pinkins (Radio Golf; Caroline, or Change; The Wild Party; Play On!; Chronicle of a Death Foretold; Jelly’s Last Jam; Merrily We Roll Along). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz.
The Broadway Concert Series has to date showcased the talents of 143 different artists whose combined credits include the following accolades: 5 Tony Award wins, 38 Tony Award nominations, 11 Drama Desk Award wins, 56 Drama Desk Award nominations, 1 Emmy Award win and 5 Emmy Award nominations.
