Levittown, NY (November 15th, 2006) Today it was announced that PopCore Promotion will be teaming up with the legendary “Vintage Tuesday Open Mic”, booking special Tuesday Night Showcase slots which will be intermingled with the open mic performers, at the newly renovated (and under new ownership) Vintage Lounge in Levittown, Long Island.
PopCore Promotion has built an impressive reputation over the past six years, producing shows at some of the areas top venues (The Downtown, The Crazy Donkey, The Dublin Pub, The Knitting Factory) and these showcases will be no exception! Each edition of the Tuesday Night Showcase is sure to deliver great networking and showcasing opportunites for bands and music industry reps alike.
Rick Eberle and PopCore Promotion have always been all about “re-creating the scene” out on LI that has been missing for some time. Their stated goal is to make Tuesday night at The Vintage Lounge “THE” place to NETWORK, meet, and jam for Long Island musicians of all ages and genres! Rick will also be inviting his friends in the press, at the labels and at management companies to some and scout for the best LI talent.

*All participating or networking Bands in attendance should bring their press kits for possible bookings on PopCore Showcases, opening for Nationals at various area venues, reviews in local zines and newspapers, airplay on local and college radio and for possible band sponsorships with Sam Ash Music!
*Remember, WE WANT ESTABLISHED ACTS AS WELL AS BEGINNERS! We are inviting down many labels reps, local radio and press, management companies etc so put your best foot forward and get on down to the best networking night of the week!
*Amps, Drumset, and Backline provided, all acts should just bring picks, sticks, instruments and cables.
