(Long Island, N.Y.) During this month Fairway Market stores throughout the Tri-State area held their annual free holiday tasting. I had the pleasure of interviewing Assistant Manager Jonathan Goldstein at the Long Island Plainview Fairway Market about their wonderful catering services.
At the event shoppers indulged in Fairway’s signature Thanksgiving fare and received 10% off catering orders placed. Dishes available from the Thanksgiving menu included mouthwatering main course options such as Fairway’s famous oven-ready organic turkey and honey spiced glazed spiral ham; savory homemade stuffing in varieties from corn bread and pecan to fresh herb mushroom and decadent side dishes featuring roasted root vegetables, parsnip and turnip puree and wild rice with dried cranberries and pecans. Fairway’s scrumptious apple, sweet potato, pumpkin, pecan and three berry pies were just some of the Thanksgiving desserts that were highlighted at the tasting.

The Plainview location was the third Fairway Market to open and their first in the suburbs of Long Island. With twice as much square footage as their flagship store, Fairway now had room to seriously increase the number of fabulous features offered to their shoppers including wider aisles.
