Long Island’s Nassau and Suffolk counties are home to 125 school districts (below) containing a total of 656 public schools. Brooklyn has 6 districts and 412 public schools and Queens has 7 districts with 276 public schools which belong to the New York City District.

Amagansett School (ratings) is dedicated to providing the best and highest quality educational experience for all its children. William Floyd School District (ratings) district is located on the south shore of Long Island, approximately 60 miles east of New York City. We presently have a student population of approximately 11,000. We have five K-5 elementary schools, two 6-8 middle schools and one 9-12 senior high school.
