(Long Island, NY) Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 8th for the annual Summer Gala for Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH). Hosted by Mark and Icim Miller of Southold, this year’s event is sure to attract a lively crowd. Celebrate 110 Years of Caring at the Anniversary Celebration at the waterfront home of the Miller family with views of Peconic Bay. Titled “Blue by the Bay” – everyone is welcome to attend in their comfortable North Fork Chic attire. Wear blue if you would like. Proceeds will benefit the Emergency Department at ELIH.
“The property was selected by the 2015 Gala Committee because of its beautiful vistas and scenic views of Peconic Bay,” states Maureen Mills, Gala Committee Chair. “The committee is excited to add a new twist this year with the addition of an “after party” with music by “One Love.” Festivities begin at 5:00 pm with a raw bar, specialty food stations, passed hors d’oeuvres, local wines, craft beer and signature cocktails.

Treat yourself to sumptuous local cuisine expertly prepared by the chefs at the Jamesport Manor Inn served tableside, French, butler-style. The “farm to table” dinner features Turkish-themed cuisine including salad, two dinner entrees and sides. Dinner will end with a baklava dessert.
Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes and buy your ticket early. We anticipate a sold out crowd by the end of July. Tickets are $200 each. After July 15th tickets prices go up to $225.
