(Long Island, NY) Senator Lee Zeldin, Republican candidate for U.S Congress, hosted the first rally of his congressional campaign on Thursday night at the Portuguese American Center in Farmingville.
The Rally was a resounding success, attracting over 500 Long Islanders whose outpouring of support brought a palpable energy to the event.

“I am both honored and humbled by the tremendous amount of support our Congressional campaign has generated,” said Senator Zeldin. “Last week, we were endorsed by our 60th local elected official and this week over 500 supporters turned out to make this an unforgettable event. It just goes to show how unified the First Congressional District is going into this year’s campaign.”
Senator Zeldin concluded by saying, “We can all agree, business as usual in Washington is not getting the job done. If we want to change what goes on in D.C., we have to change the people we send there. The huge outpouring of support only reinforces the fact that Long Islanders are ready to put an abrupt end to the D.C. dysfunction.”
