(Long Island, NY) From blazing golden yellows to rich shades of mahogany, when it comes to intense color, nothing in the fall garden can match the showy display of chrysanthemums. An amazing array of chrysanthemums grown locally will be on display at Hicks Nurseries in Westbury as members of the Long Island Chrysanthemum Society compete for blue ribbons. Members will be present to answer questions.

The mums will be on view on Saturday, October 19, from 12 noon to 5:30 pm and on Sunday, October 20 from 11am to 3:45pm. There is no charge.
