(Long Island, NY) The Caumsett Foundation’s Junior Committee is proud to announce the first annual 5K Run/Walk. The “Race for Caumsett” will take place at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve in Lloyd Harbor on Sunday, April 27th at 9 am, rain or shine; the walk will begin at 9:10 am. Runners of all ages are encouraged to participate.
The path of the race will begin near the Polo Stable and will head east, taking runners through the historic and beautiful grounds of the Park. Awards and refreshments will be provided to participants in the Walled Garden following the race and each runner will also receive a complimentary t-shirt and water bottle, while supplies last.
All proceeds from the race will benefit the Foundation’s projects. Race registration is open now – $20 for online registration and $25 for those who register the day of the event.
