(RIVERHEAD, NY) East End Arts, an organizing partner of Winterfest, announces that the 7th Annual Long Island Winterfest Live on the Vine music festival, presented by Suffolk County National Bank, has been extended one weekend to accommodate for weather-related cancellations earlier in the festival. Winterfest 2014 will now run through Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Live on the Vine is an award-winning six-week mid-winter music festival that takes place in Long Island’s unique vineyard tasting rooms, hotels and other venues on the East End. From February 7 through now March 23, 2014 the East End of Long Island will be alive and in full swing with over 100 live music performances.
Dozens of cultural attractions and special offers on hotel and B&B getaway packages, restaurants and winery tours are available. In 2014, Winterfest expanded the overall musical selection to encompass talented performers in jazz, blues, soul, rock, country, and more (hence the name modification to “Live” on the Vine from “Jazz” on the Vine.) Winterfest is a project of East End Arts, the Long Island Wine Council, Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Suffolk County Department of Economic Development.
