(Queens, NY) – NYS Senator Joe Addabbo and NYS Assemblyman Mike Miller hosted a Safety / Health Event at the Forest Park Bandshell parking lot on Saturday, June 8, from 10 AM to 2 PM.
On scene and available for information/entertainment were the FDNY Fire Safety Experience Van; NYPD 102nd Pct.; 104th Pct. GCOP Civilian Patrol; NYPD Climbing Wall; NYPD’s Safe Child ID Cards, VIN etching for cars, bikes, cell phone, laptop, iPad registration; DSNY; NYU College of Dentistry Mobile Dental Van; free bike helmets (while they lasted) from Queens County Traffic Safety Board; Animal Alliance (pet microchips), Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Fidelis Health Care, Red Cross; Community Advocacy Center, Glendale Volunteer Ambulance Corps; CUNY Law Program for the Elderly; Alzheimer’s Association/OEM; and Queens Library.
