(Queens, NY) All admirers of our furry friends in Queens were invited to attend Pet Advocacy Day on Saturday, July 13, in Forest Park’s Bandshell parking lot. Event co-sponsors were Assemblyman Mike Miller (D-Woodhaven), state Senator Joe Addabbo, Jr. (D-Howard Beach), and Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley (D-Middle Village).

Organizations on hand were five pet rescue groups including Bobbi and the Strays, and pet trainers from Community Canine Training and Pawstigious Pets. ASPCA reps were on hand and reps from the NYC Department of Health issued a multitude of on-the-spot dog licenses.
