(Queens, NY) In late September, Senator Joe Addabbo hosted events for free mammogram and prostate exams for women and men. Over 75 individuals in total participated in the exams held in Maspeth (mammogram van) and in Woodhaven (prostate screenings at Woodhaven-Richmond Hill Volunteer Ambulance Corps). The American Italian Cancer Foundation and The Integrated Medical Foundation conducted the exams for the community.
Senator Addabbo’s office and these sponsors are again planning to hold similar no-cost cancer screenings for men and women, by late fall or early in the new year.
